It was crazy morning at work. I’m lucky that I only work a few hours on Friday morning. One of the few perks of my job.

It’s a very nice day. I put on my running clothes and went to MKT trail and ran 3.5 miles. I could only run 2.5 miles without a walk break for a couple of minutes. I’ll shoot for the 3.1 full run tomorrow. I was more tired than after a half marathon but after a few minutes I felt awesome. That’s why I run.

Do you know the look of acknowledgement that you share with another runner when you run past each other? Yeah, me too. 🙂

After the run, I came home and took the dogs on a long walk/run so I burned more calories. I have been very motivated today. I thought I’d be crazy hungry but I came home and ate low-fat cottage cheese and half grapefruit for my afternoon snack.

Kevin called and said he wants to go to Quinton’s tonight. It’s our favorite bar in Columbia but we haven’t been in so long because of his Paleo diet but I think he wants a beer tonight! And I didn’t include alcohol on my no-no list for the 30 day challenge so I can go! 🙂
