My husband and I love eating out. I love all types of foods and try to find interesting places to eat. Atmosphere is a biggie for me.

Mekong – located in Tower Grove (7/12/14)

3131 S. Grand Blvd. (Hartford St.)

This place was not what I expected. It did not have the usual asian decor and music. It had the look and appeal of an old style diner with a welcoming bar. It also was playing Frank Sinatra music which I particularly enjoyed.

It was lunch so we ordered light. I had the Chicken Vermicelli Salad and Kevin had the beef vermicelli salad. It was as delicious a meal that I have had on Grand. The prices are cheap but the food was both beautiful and delicious.

Wildflower – located in Central West End (5/31/14)

4590 Laclede Ave
St. Louis, MO 63108
Chicken Salad Wrap
Breakfast Burrito
Spinach and Mushroom Pizza

Lemon Grass – located in Tower Grove 6/29/14

3161 South Grand Blvd
St. Louis, MO 63118

We love, love Vietnamese food. We have passed this place many times but it’s always been on my list to try. We ate lunch there and they offered smaller meals which always pleases me. The decor was beautiful and serene and the food was delicious and a reasonable price. I had a bud light with my meal and it was the coldest beer I’ve ever had. That’s always another thing that pleases me.
